Enjoying a couple Trenta Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold brews and watching traffic pass me by.
Not bad at all.
Update:
Not a bad ride home either.

My kiddo starts tomorrow and she is SO excited. I am excited for her and a little crushed at the same time. I keep asking her to make sure that shes going to be my little girl forever. Hopefully she won’t be breaking out the new word that she has been using as a term of endearment “dickhead”.

Life is too short to be thirsty.

Mine was so excited he ran into the classroom and didn’t even say goodbye today. Happy he’s enjoying school but I could have used a hug.
They pick up those naughty words quickly, don't they? I need to watch my mouth, have already heard a few words repeated which I'd rather not hear from a 3 year old.

Especially with my family history!
I ride a bike in Surrey, I'll be lucky to see tomorrow as it is. Lol

As you hear, it goes by quick. I’ll never forget my daughter crying at the door on the first day of daycare. The first day of school was the opposite with her running off to be with her friends. The first day of college was hard - not hard for her, but really hard on me.
Now my son gets all the attention at the house. He says that he just wants us to leave him alone, but I can see him smiling when he thinks we aren’t looking.

They do, I’m honestly not overly concerned with swearing. Obviously I don’t want her swearing, particularly not in/at school. However as long as shes not being mean I will probably not choose that battle.
At first she was using it correctly, “Hey!!! Give it back, dickHEAD!!” she said to our dog who snaked one of her stuffed animals. LOL
Now its more like she finds one of her stuff animals and will nuzzle its nose and be like “hi, you cute little dickhead”

Nah. One of th e best traffic calming devices I’ve used is my kids’ trailer. People always give me more room when the trailer is on back.

Adorbs.
I’ve had pretty good luck replying “Hey, you don’t use that word” and thus far he complies, which is great because compliance isn’t his strong suit. Headstrong leader, and already swearing at a 5th grade level. So proud.

Usually, if they look up from their phone long enough to notice. I cut a broom handle and attached a blinky to it for better trailer visibility.

Consider yourself lucky. I may have to post asking for fellow Opponaut’s help. Our oldest is really struggling going to kindergarten. Had a total meltdown today, and refused to go to school - like full on screaming, grabbing and hanging onto mom, etc. I tried to take her back at lunch, and she was physically clinging onto me. No idea what else we can do to get her to go.

Oh no, sorry to hear it! I understand how that can be and know I’ve lucked out. Here's hoping you guys are able to work through it quickly and easily.

I’ve actually taken him to the local mtb track in the trailer. Mind you there was no air involved, but we rode a lot of the course. Even without the trailer I’d break myself though.
While we were there a kid if probably 13 shows up on a dirt jump bike and and was flying from obstacle to obstacle with such fluidity he made it look absolutely effortless.
So I bounced and got out of his way. Lol
